About Product Recall Tracker
Last updated: 2026-05-21
Product Recall Tracker is a free, independent search engine for US product safety recalls. We aggregate official recall data from the CPSC, FDA, and USDA into a single searchable index — without a paywall, login, or marketing email collection.
Why we built this
Each federal agency publishes recall data in a different format on a different site, often behind clunky search interfaces. Consumers shouldn't need to know which agency regulates which product to find out if something they own has been recalled. Product Recall Tracker unifies these sources so you can search once and get a complete answer.
What we cover
- CPSC — Consumer products: toys, furniture, electronics, appliances
- FDA — Drugs, medical devices, food, cosmetics
- USDA FSIS — Meat, poultry, and processed egg products
How we stay current
We sync with each agency's public dataset daily. New recalls and critical "do not use" alerts typically appear within hours of being published by the issuing agency.
What we don't do
We do not issue recalls. We do not have a relationship with any manufacturer. We are not affiliated with any government agency. For official recall actions — repair, replacement, or refund — contact the manufacturer or the issuing agency directly using the links on each recall page.
